Atlantis Hotel HELP?

ok well my parents me my aunt, uncle and two cousins r sposed to go to the Atlantis in June and my parents still dont know if we r going yet cause the price is high and we are trying to save money cause of the econmy and stuff so My mom keeps telling me not to get my hopes up but the thing is my uncle thats coming he works in the Army so he can get us a discount thats good and everything but it only goes down like $100 can any one help me finding low prices

oh yeah we want to stay at ROYAL TOWERS CAUSE IV BEEN ON SOME WEBSITIES AND IT WAS FOR DIFFERENT THINGS LIKE THE COVE AND STUFF!

Atlantis is a great vacation spot, but it is expensive.  The Royal Towers are beautiful, but to save some money, the Beach Tower and the Coral Towers are all connected and they are really equally as nice with all the same benefits of the resort.  

Food and drinks are expensive here.   A great way to save it to pack an empty suitcase full of food.  Bagels pack great, coffee, breakfast bars, and snack items for in the room.  There is a grocery store across from the resort that you can walk to for bottled water, soda and other snacks.

Have you thought about staying at Comfort Suites. You have all of the Atlantis privileges. It's located next door to each other.

If you find a good rate and it's in the family budget, go to the airline website and check the price sometimes the rate is cheaper.

However, it's always cheaper to book land and air together. Maybe the next step is check with a local travel agency. Sometimes they are cheaper because they get bulk rates on air. We have saved hundreds of dollars on trips this way.

Atlantis doesn't discount it's rooms to outside vendors.. so unless Atlantis is having a sale.. you end up paying Atlantis prices.  Some sites may seem as if they are discounted or lower priced, but they don't add in the Room Tax, surcharges, and mandatory fees and surcharges.  Then you are "shocked" when you check out and find your week cost you an extra $500 in taxes.

Check the Atlantis website for deals..  

Best bet is to get a great deal on flights.. cause you won't get a deal on the rooms.
