The Spanish outfit, Atletico Madrid, have confirmed that Juventus FC are keen to acquire Sergio Aguero, revearling that the Italian giants have contacted them for the striker’s services. However, the Italians would need offer a sum of 45 million Euros if
they want to take the player to Turin.
The Atletico chief, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, while talking to the Radio Marca, revealed that Real Madrid are not the contenders for Aguero and the Italian giants are interested in the Argentinean striker. Gil Marin said:
“I have received no offer from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid and Florentino Perez has assured me that they are not interested in the player. The only side which I have talked to are Juventus. I have been contacted by the Italian club; they have sent me a letter in which they
have asked to negotiate for the player.”
Marin, then, revealed the contact has been made by the Lady Killers and also quoted the asking price for the 22-year-old Argentine.
“Last Monday we received a fax from the Bianconeri. They showed their interest, but we will only let Aguero go for €45m – and not a Euro less,” the Atletico chief concluded.
Los http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Indios-c39565 have a minimum release clause of 45 million Euros inserted in the player’s contract. However, this clause is only valid for a Spanish transfer, and it does not apply to Juve, but the Spaniards are still expecting the same figure this summer transfer
window.
Reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 suggest that the Juve transfer chief and director general, Beppe Marotta, met the player’s agent at Stadio Olimpico Torino previously. However, Marotta is yet to approach the player’s club to make an offer for the Argentine International.
The Old Lady are running a campaign to revamp their squad during this summer window and they have already acquired the AC Milan legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrea-Pirlo-c5702, and the Sampdoria asset, Reto Zeigler. The Lady Killers failed to make an impact in the Serie A during the
2010/11 season and eye the upcoming 2011/12 term to regain the lost glory.
