Atletico CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin admitted the bleak possibilities that they face. The board director revealed that with Los Rojiblancos much publicised revenue problems, a top four finish is their priority or otherwise Falcao’s continued stay can become

Reflecting on the Europa League final victory over Athletic Bilbao, Gil Marin stated that he was overtaken by nerves and had to leave to return to normality.
He confided that he mistook Atletico’s first goal as one scored by Los Leones as he strolled around the stadium.
"I left because I was feeling poorly," he explained. "I walked around the stadium and when I heard the roar of the crowd, I thought that Athletic had scored. After learning that it was 3-0, I was able to breathe again."
