How does the atmospheric pressure relate with the changes in weather conditions?

  1. Low pressure usually brings bad weather due to convection and high pressure brings fair weather due to sinking of air.


  2. the above answer is right except for low pressure brings warmer temps, and high pressure brings cooler temps because it doesn't allow for cloud formation. Clouds reflect the suns rays back to the ground.

  3. A high pressure system brings dryer and generally warmer weather, and low pressure systems bring the wetter, and generally cooler conditions. But this does depend on where you are in the world. Low pressure systems bring monsoons etc to the countries close the equator, and it is still rather hot there.
