Atouchofvenus to sweep through the Ladbrokes.com 480 Division I
The first division of the ladbrokes.com 480 has pulled together Daithis Roscoe, Bower Laramie, Monaghan Jack, Cleveland Peter, Barnish Booth and Atouchofvenus. Each of the prospects is looking out for his/her share in the total prize money of £200. The 480
metres flat race will be held at Monmore on Saturday, 17th November.
The blue trap, Bower Laramie, and the sixth gate for tonight’s race, Atouchofvenus, are the highly likely possibilities for taking back the winner’s prize money back to the kennel.
The Chris Allsopp trained, Atouchofvenus, has been racing at the same level since 17th September, 2012, and has struck success thrice.
She won the Linacre Standard – Division C on 23rd September, 2012 at Coventry over 485 metres. The fifth trap set into a high gear early on and then sustained the lead until the wire. The favourite entry won the race in 29.55 seconds and defeated
Rainham Tiger into the second position by 7 ½ lengths.
After posting in two four positions, Crash’s daughter got the winner’s crown of the Ladbrokes Game On b*****s 480 metres Heat 1 on 18th October, 2012 at Monmore over 480 metres.
Racing in the black and white stripes of the sixth trap, the two-year-old broke slowly, got crowded and ran on for the wire from the wide end. It took the favourite entry 28.77 seconds for her to win the race and she could keep the runner-up, Airforce Allstar,
at bay by just half-length.
Another fourth position had the trainer thinking better of it and sending her for a training session on 3rd November, 2012 at Wimbledon.
The refresher helped her in taking control of the Grade OR Running Music b*****s Trophy – Division A on 11th November, 2012 at Coventry over 485 metres. The most favoured candidate for the race did not wait for long to set into pace and then reeled
in for the wire, settling the affair in 29.56 seconds.
The winning margin of 2 ½ lengths set Gorm Cailin as the runner-up.
She is backed by 5 to 2 odds tonight and has raced to success from the sixth trap before too.
