Has anyone noticed significant changes in the weather over the last 30 years?I recall as a kid in 1970s Ireland, summers were warm and dry and sunny and in winter,we had quite a bit of snow. Now our summers are quite warm but it always rains and the sun rarley appears. As for our winters,we had 1 day last winter when it snowed and that was all.Anyone else noticing the change in the weather patterns in recent years? It really is depressing going through a wet winter and having a wet summer als to deal with.Thinking off leaving ireland to be honest

  1. Yes, I was thinking exactly that the other day. In NW England we get Ireland's weather about 3 hours later. We used to get snow in winter and sun in summer, you pretty much knew where you were.

It seems every summer now we get 1 whole month where it just rains and rains and rains. It's so warm and damp that you can't step outside at night without crunching bloody huge snails. And last year we had a heatwave in April!
