  1. Absolutely not a scam.

Very respected Poker Site and SportsBook. Good luck.

  2. I have played mayn tournaments on Bodog and have received all my checks within 3 weeks of request.

So yes I have been "payed".

  3. Bodog poker is reliable, you will get paid, lol.

But if you are a USA player, then I would get off the site, the US government does not seem to like the owner! The problem, as I understood it, is with the Sports Betting part of the site, and the Feds wanted to make an example of him. But if the Feds are watching the site, why take a chance? There are many other  places to play that are just as reliable ( or more so ) and are USA Legal!

If you want some legal poker sites in the USA, here is a link:

    Good luck!

  4. its not a scam, but it is not as well trusted as pokerstars or fulltilt.

  5. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

  6. I think of Bodog as the Starbucks of the online betting world.  They've got a lot of neat looking effects, flashy graphics, etc. but the quality leaves something to be desired.

And since changing around upper level personnel several months back, their customer service and payout reputation has suffered dearly.  I play at Full Tilt and Poker Stars and get paid regularly.  They have easy deposit and withdrawal methods, and have more poker options, as well.  Forward your boyfriend the link with this post and tell him to check out some reviews of RELIABLE sites.  Hope this helps.

  7. bodog is respected bookmaker and offers quality casino and poker games. it is not a scam or anything like that, but if you are US residents, it might take a while for making the deposits / withdrawals, plus bodog is quite targeted by US feds at the moment. I've heard they locked one of their account with 30 million USD, but this is still change for bodog

some other poker rooms your boyfriend could try are here
