Attack by NXT Season 1 Rookies WWE
It was a strange Monday Night Raw as wrestling fans sat in complete fear and anxiety. A week before, the WWE arena was attacked by the former rookies of NXT season one. It was the NXT wrestling champion from season 1, Wade Barrett who was leading his infamous wrestlers of NXT. These rookies attacked C M Punk and his Straight Edge society and then proceeded to make an impact after giving the WWE Champion, John Cena a beating of his life time. Then these NXT rookies destroyed the WWE ring and attacked different crew members. Such an attack is unprecedented in the history of WWE as wrestling fans have never seen; some lawless wrestlers merely enter the ring for the sole purpose of destruction and making an impact.
These NXT rookies then appeared on the recent Monday Night RAW on June 14, 2010. Their arrival in the arena was highly secretive as they were hiding among the general audience. They entered the ring and asked the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, the legendary wrestler and champion, Bret “The Hit Man” Hart to offer them full time WWE contracts. This was an open violation and disregard of wrestling rules and these lawless NXT rookies were trying to hijack the whole world of professional wrestling. After Bret “The Hit Man” Hart denied accepting their demands, the NXT rookies threatened to destroy any thing and everything which will come in their way as they set out to achieve their goal.
Then one of the most famous wrestlers of today, the WWE champion, John Cena, entered the ring. Cena received a standing ovation from the crowd as everyone was cheering for him. But there was an evident fear in the air as people thought that they might see a replay of action form last week when John Cena was attacked and brutally beaten by all NXT rookies. NXT rookies in the leadership of Wade Barrett surrounded the ring and marked their positions before they could launch the attack on the WWE champion.
But then everything changed as the entire roster of Monday Night RAW came to the help of John Cena. It was a moment to watch as it looked like a complete street fight. Wrestlers like William Regal, the strongest man of the world, Mark Henry, The Miz, John Morrison, R – Truth, The Hart Dynasty and many other famous wrestlers entered the ring and joined the fight. It was complete chaos as bodies were flying everywhere. NXT rookies stood up to the challenge and decided to retain their ground and fight the professional wrestlers.
But then the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, the Rated – R Superstar “Edge and the apex predator of WWE, “Randy Orton” entered the ring with their dominating attitude. It was a phenomenal scene as Sheamus, Edge and Randy Orton have been the opponents of John Cena and no one expected them to come to John Cena’s help. But everyone was united in hatred of the NXT rookies. This street fight went on for some minutes but then the NXT rookies started to run for their lives as the power and skill of professional wrestlers was too much for them. The NXT rookies ran out of the arena but Mark Henry and many other wrestlers chased them till the exit point.
NXT wrestling rookies who wanted to make an impact received a beating of their life time. However many pundits and critics of the professional wrestling world believe that it is not the end but rather the start of a new story on Monday Night RAW. NXT rookies will definitely be back to take their revenge from the WWE management and other professional wrestlers. Keep your fingers crossed as the coming weeks will bring more drama and action in and outside of the WWE ring. Wrestling fans have to wait and see to find out the new victim of NXT rookies.
