Attempted Suicide Results?

Not my question just passing it on for a friend, but a friend wants to know for anyone who has attempted Suicide by Stabbing himself, should they survive what are the consequences after the Hospital Stay? Mental Hospital?

-don't take pills, they can find you and get your stomach pumped.

-don't hang yourself, they can find you unconscious and put you in the hospital

- you mostly want to do is shoot yourself right in the middle of your forehead.

Stabbing is a pretty difficult way to kill yourself,  you have to find an internal organ such as the heart or a lung to cause any fatal damage.

Shooting is also hit and miss (excuse the pun).

I had a friend shoot himself in the head twice with a shotgun, and all he managed to do was blow his face off.  He's still alive and looks hideous.

Hanging sometimes works, but if it doesn't, you're left with a scar around your neck.

Basically there is no "good" way to commit suicide.  Your mate will just have to suck it up, deal with whatever is going on and come out the other side stronger.

Suicide is never the answer. God gave you life and it is not your's to take.

This was not a good question to ask. Please confront your friend, it is  not normal at all to have suicidal thoughts.
