For those of you who work in the fast food industry?!?

What kinda shoe's are recomended? and where to do you find such a shoe? and.... sorry one more thing... Are they affordable for someone workin with a budget?

  2. Here you finally posed a question I might be able to answer:) back many many years ago.. I was a short order cook... for a little more than a summer job... I used a quality pair on tennis shoes ...... look for some reasonable nike's..

  4. The best kind of shoes to buy to work in a fast-food enviornment are slide-proof shoes. With all the grease and whatever else spilling on the floor throughout the day you wanna make sure you won't slip and fall. The most affordable shoe and where you can find that at to start out with is in Walmart for under $20.00.

  5. MY HUSBAND IS A CHEF AND HE RECOMMENDS THAT THE FIRST CRITERIA THAT ONE USES WHEN ONE SELECTS SHOES IS COMFORT.  YOU WILL BE ON YOUR FEET MORE THAN YOU EVER HAVE BEEN AND WILL NEED COMFORT.

    SECONDLY, PAY LESS SHOE STORE OFFERS "FOOD SERVICE WORKER" SHOES FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.  YOUR EMPLOYER CAN ALSO ORDER THEM FROM THEIR FOOD PURVEYOR AND MAY BE ABLE TO PAYROLL ROLL DEDUCE THESE FOR YOU AT A MINIMUM PAYMENT FROM YOU FROM EACH PAY CHECK.

    SHOES MUST NOT ONLY BE COMFORTABLE, BUT THEY MUST BE SLIP RESISTANT.  THE MOST COMMON INJURY IN A RESTAURANT IS A FALL; NOT CUTS!  MAKE SURE THAT THE SOLES ARE SLIP AND GREASE RESISTANT.

  6. My sister worked at KFC and they just gave her thease shoes called "shoes for crews" other wise tenashoes

  7. some stores require that you wear a certain type of footwear as well as attire. it would be best to consult the stores policy as to what to wear.

  8. Any black, slip resistant shoe. I would also recommend the gel pads from Dr. Shoal's (Sp?) for comfort. Shoes for Crews are a good brand, and so is Safe-T. You can find them at pay less, walmart, almost everyplace that sells shoes will have them. Yes they are affordable, about $20. Good luck
