Attention Seattle Gardeners?!?

Question

I am a novice in charge of redesigning a property yard while the house is being remodeled and would love ideas of plants that work well in on the Enumclaw plateau area around Muckleshoot. I have already went to the local King County guide for some ideas.

Basically we want almost nonstop flowers, color, low maintenance as one is with a full time career.

Anything on the web is welcome. Any landscapers wanting to be hired is not.

Pick up a copy of the Sunset Western Guide.  It will give you some great info on plants that work in our climate as well as specific lists for things like:bloom time, deer resistant, hummingbird, fragrance...

At least you can get a better idea, because we don't know what kind of sun or soil you have.  Plus, year round flowers is not really possible in our climate and a big perennial garden full of blooming flowers ain't low maintenance.
