Attention all really good answerers! Why does he do this??

Question

so there's this guy ive been friends with for over a year. he said he likes me and cares about me etc. He also said that he wants to be friends, well the problem is he tells me that throught messages. NEVER in person. He dosent really talk to me in person except for "hi how are you??" and stuff like that. Hes starting to tick me off because he is always like we should hang out, call me i miss you!! and then when i call hes ALWAYS busy or cant come. Hes even said to meet him at the movies once and chickened out at the last minute. (i ended up waiting there for 1 hour for him =[ ) i know most of you are thinking where am i going with this, so ill just get to the point. Why dose he write me love letters, tell me he loves me, says he misses me, hugs me whenever he sees me, wants to hang out. But never ACTS like it. I mean if he really didn't like me wouldn't he have given up on pretending??

Guys just get nervous if they're around somebody that they like in public. He may be able to talk to you in non-direct ways, but it looks like you have to make the first move. Whenever you see him, talk to him. You don't have to get all mushy gushy but you do have to ask him why he doesn't acknowledge you in public. Good luck!

maybe his shy? I wouldn't dwell on it hun. Boys are hard to figure out (and they say woman are)

Im 28, so is my partner, and sometimes I have trouble figuring him out.

If he likes you it will come out in the end.

Wow. IDK, but the best answer I can give you is that guys are clueless and that he may just want you when he thinks he can't have you.

That is just boys in general...how old is he??And boys are always like that..u'll get used to it!!!!And consider yourself lucky most guys have their friends tell u!!
