Question:

Attire during a visa interview?

I'm going to a U.S visa interview in a couple of days (F1 visa).

I'd like to know if the attire we wear REALLY makes a difference when the interview is all about the grades and finance of the student.

I know that a rugged look would obviously put off anybody but what if I'm wearing casual wear with a sleeve-less top, clean and perfumed?

I hear all around people say we should only wear corporate attire - full-sleeved women's shirt.

Does it really make a difference?

Thank you.
