Question:

Attn: professional piercers; i have a question...?

I was told that I shouldn't spin my lip ring at all, and I've been successful in that. But I was wondering if I actually SHOULD spin it a little when I spray the piercing with h2ocean??

I know that it's usually not good to spin the jewelry because it could disrupt the healing process and the scabs and what-not; but how can I make sure that the inside of the hole itself is getting clean?

Any answers you could provide would be extremely helpful, so I thank you in advance.

  1. Spinning it isn't a big deal, it's ok to do it if you want to but you're not gonna get it in the hole unless you took the jewelry out (don't do that :)) It's not going to hurt to spin it, but it's not going to help either. Make sure it's not too tight, it shouldn't hurt at all when you spin it. One last thing, if and when you do spin it, make sure you spin it in the direction of tightening it, because even if you don't hold the inside and you turn the outside enough it could easily loosen and fall out.
