Attracting ghosts or evil spirits?

Question

I've read a few times before that you can in a way, "bring in" ghosts or evil spirits into your home if you study about them enough. Like reading about ghosts and looking into ghost-related things. I know this sounds crazy but I cant find the right way to word it. I have it in my mind, but cant get it out in words. But hopefully some of yall know what i mean.

I think some of those books have spells on them..At least that's what I've heard. I do know what you mean. One time I brought some paranormal books home from the library and that night my dog was growling and barking and jumping back from something I couldn't see. There wasn't anybody there that I know of..unless they snuck in when I wasn't there and were hiding in the kitchen...but she wasn't barking etc. at the kitchen but right in front of the wall. Anyway....we left..and then moved.

You see, it's hard to imagine but Earthbound souls are all around us and minding their own business in general. To really be harmed by any you need to open yourself up to them by verbally telling them or communicating with them.

They cannot touch you without your permission. You have spiritual guides that always protect you and as long as you do not override this by saying it's okay to them they cannot ever break that protective sheild.

     A way to break the sheild and to surpass a guides protection is through using a ouija board which contacts lower level entities.

     I wrote an article that's now in Fate Magazine-a paranormal mag-it tells of how to communicate with spirit guides using Automatic writing. It is safe.

but reading won't do any harm-in fact it is knowledge that gains us power.

The only thing it takes to attract spirits is believing in them.  Doing so will greatly increase the chance that you will misinterpret a natural event as having a paranormal cause.

i kinda know what you are saying i went to waverly hills ky the old tb hospital and after that i was feeling angry and sad.the tour guide said sometimes things can follow you home but why would they do that they are there at waverly for a reason. i also think it was pms lol for real.

I've read about hauntings for *cough* years (well, since my early teens, let's put it that way), and I've never brought them into my house by doing that. I've never heard of that happening to another investigator, either. I've also actively investigated hauntings for about 10 years now and have never had one follow me home.

So, from my experience, you can't 'get their attention' - so to speak, by reading about or studying them. They are, in all likelyhood, completely oblivious to what you're doing.

Yes your guess is right but it is also true that when we explore about the subtle world we become knowledgeable and then can easily apply remedies to overcome any spiritual problem in our life.

If one is undertaking spiritual practice as per the basic principles of spirituality and if we are learning the subtle world then we don’t have any harm. Especially when we are doing so under the guidance of spiritually evolved….

Stop trying to attract ghosts or evil spirits. They are very dangerous creatures. A girl did that once and 13 demons came into her and she almost killed herself. A pastor had to exorcize the demons out of here. So do not try to attact them. You are only asking for some serious trouble.

There are ways to bring in ghost , spirits and demons.  But none are brought about by reading case studies or ghost stories.

Playing with things of this kind can lead to serious trouble. You never know what you may attract and not all of it is good.

To answer your question however, I have heard of these kinds of books but I have seen more people do this kind of thing with actual things. If you go on e-bay you can type in “haunted items” and a whole list of things will come up.

Some people believe that when you’re living you may become so attached to something that when you pass on your sprit stays with the item. I have seen this done with dolls, rocking horses, rings and other jewelry, and pianos.
