Attracting thunder?

I have a fear of thunder and i want to know if running on a trackmil and/or listening to your ipod would attracts thunder?

i dont know about trackmil but as i know there are some news say that using of ipod can attract lightning.

medical experts are warning that people listening to an Ipod during a thunderstorm are more likely to be struck by lightening.

Apparently the danger to iPod users is because the lightning is looking for metal objects in the area around where it strikes. It loves sending current down the headphone wires and tickling the eardrums with several million volts.
