Question:

Attraction vs Liking?

I've been told theres a difference between these two. I overheard a girl in the library say, that you can't like a guy if you don't know him.

That's only called attraction.

Actual "liking" is when you take time to get to know the person.

I currently like(attracted) to this guy but we barely talk. It makes me feel shallow now. I feel as though I like him, because he's sweet, mature, smart, quiet...but that's it, i don't know anything else about him...does this make me a bad person?

  1. It don't make you a bad person. It makes you seem superficial and it's not your fault. Society has trained children since the late 90's that its imperative that you have a body like a super model. That goes for men and women. Sometimes you have to think about the longevity of what you want. Looks are only a temporary point to someone. Knowing the person inside and in takes time and patience. Instant gratification rules today's world.
