Question:

Attractions in Kingston?

I'm going to Kingston for three days. What is there to see there? I mean like parks, museums, statues... and are there any special things that you can do there: like biking along the Great Lakes or something? Are there bike/roller blade paths there?

I'm also interested in geology and nature, not so much partying or going shopping. Any hiking trails or something?

This trip is really last-minute, and I know NOTHING about Kingston!

  1. You could visit Queen's University, Fort Henry, Kingston Archeological Centre, Parrott's Bay Conservation Area, Miller Museum of Geology and Mineralogy (Queen's), Pump House Steam Museum, Marine Museum of the Great Lakes, etc. Or you take a 1000 Islands Cruise.

I have included a link to the Kingston website. I know there is a walking, bike trail that goes along the shoreline of Lake Ontario as far as Cornwall, I think it's called the waterfront trail but not 100% sure if that's the correct name for it. Hope this helps. The second link is to a map of Kingaton showing various attractions and their locations in the city.

Good Luck and have a great time in the Limestone city.
