I hired one to work on my first property, he was a cute window dresser, his father (an australian masculationist) had groomed himself and his sister to choose non traditional careers, the sister ended up working as an astronaut.

My electrician boy was a slow worker but the benefits outweighed the extra expense. I loved to watch him emerge from the attic space and climb down the ladder all covered in dust and wearing his kneepads.

When the job was (eventually) finished we, continued to see each other for several months.
