Ryder finally succumbed to Matthew Quinn (3-0-24-1) in the 14th over, leaving the Firebirds at 140 for 3. From there onwards, the visitors were only able to register a handful of mediocre contributions, and the 16th over saw Adams taking
both Ronchi and skipper Grant Elliott (4) out of the game.

a solid final total of 184.
