Auction House tipped to win William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes
Auction House is tipped to win the William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes at Newcastle in England on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. The winner of the Grade A1 event will be awarded a cash prize of £118.
A total of six runners have been attracted towards the 480 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 12:27 GMT, and their names are as follows: Courtcraft Major, Denwill Snowy, Auction House, Cashen Zoey, Ultra Suzi Star and Hackas Wee Girl.
The overall distance to cover in the race suggests that both the stamina and speed of the runners will be put to a test. Looking at that, Auction House has the best chances of prevailing, as he has the tools to outperform his opponents.
The R. Kirk’s trainee took part in a trial run at Newcastle recently, but was unable to make a solid impression. However, that does not make a big difference, as his racing form seems to be good.
In his previous Grade A1 outing, Auction House finished fourth, as he was unable to cause any problems for his opponents. He was given decent odds by the bookies back then, but disappointed one and all with his lack of speed.
The black dog will need to be at his absolute best in order to prevail at Newcastle. He is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Lumos and was born in October 2009.
Courtcraft Major is another runner, who has the ability to win at this level and the bookies have shown a lot of confidence in his abilities. However, he is not carrying good rhythm at the moment, as he failed to win any of his past three races.
The A. Dawson’s trainee found some form in his most recent outing, as he managed to finish runner up in it. He was not given the best odds that time around, but provided wonderful entertainment to the spectators at Newcastle.
Courtcraft Major has got a lot of experience, which will help him deliver a strong result today. He is the son of Ballymac Bull out of Ballymac Ivy and was born in October 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Denwill Snowy will also be the one to watch out for in the race.
