Hi, I am a Dj. I make crazy techno beats, but I NEED to know how to remove the beat and keep the voices of a song so I can put them on my beat and play som Dj on it.for example let say a song from 2pac. I need only the voice of 2pac with out the beat like only the ''vocals''.I have audacity 1.2.6 or if there is a better program it will be a big help to me thnx

It doesn't matter what version of Audacity you have, this works on all version. Now you are going to have to do a little bit experimenting, but it will only take a few minutes, and it's will worth the time you put into it. Experiment with the different sounds you get with the EQ first. [Effect > Equalization] Now, this is a bit more complicated, but it's the greatest feature on Audacity for special effects in my opinion. [Effect > Whawha] It'll take a few mins. like I said, but you'll get it.
