Audi A3 (Soft top) or Volkswagen EOS (Hardtop) ?!

Question

Can't decide wether I should go for the Audi a3 or the Volkswagen EOS, need some good practical advice from you guys out there to help me decide. Only sensible answers please, none of your wisecracks :-)

have read reviews and there not much in it really so I would have to say it's all in the name, would you rather say I drive a Vdub or I drive an Audi, it would be the latter for me everytime.

My brother was considering the Audi A3 Convertible. That and the Volvo C30. I think you should test drive both, consider what you got for your money. The EOS is bigger, but ive only ever seen 2 on the road, so theyre quite rare and i guess special. Audi A3's are quite popular though. Its down to your own opinion and choice, after all: youre going to be driving it!

I  too had the same dilemma. After studying each of the options and prices I chose an EOS.

The reasons for this were due to wanting a proper hard top and not a fabric roof. Also the Eos is a newer design and residuals will be higher. I also chose the DSG gear box common to each car.

For the same budget I was able to add red nappa leather, Chicago wheels and other lux packs. I just felt I was getting a better package for my money. The car is built in Portugal and shipped to Germany for Final Quality checks.

Since purchasing the EOS, I have found it great car with a solid build quality.The residuals are holding better than the Audi as in 07-08 VW predicted to sell 4000 units in the UK I had to wait a couple of Months

for delivery .

The Audi has a more prestigious badge, but I just went for what I thought was a better car. It will boil down to your preferences and I suppose your feelings on the value of the badge.

Definitely the Audi. After all it is Volkswagen's luxury and higher performance vehicle.
