Audi MedCup Circuit 2011 leader Quantum Racing struggles in 2011 Region of Murcia Trophy, Cartagena
America’s Quantum Racing did not finish well in the previous Audi MedCup event, 2011 Region of Sardinia Trophy, and tumbled down at number three spot at the end. In the 2011 Region of Murcia Trophy, the American team is at number five now with no race victory
and 28 points. The 2011 Audi MedCup Circuit leaders need to pull up their socks and perform brilliantly to move up in the standings.
After winning the first leg of 2011 Audi MedCup Circuit, Cascais Trophy, Quantum Racing’s performance has not been up to the mark. They finished second in the 2011 Marseille Trophy after a tussling sail during the event and third in 2011 Region of Sardinia
Trophy again after struggling during early races. However, the American team is known for their amazing comebacks and there is still hope for them.
While speaking to local media, project manager Quantum Racing, Ed Reynolds said, “For sure nobody is making it easy, it is great for the MedCup because I really think this is going to be tight to the end. Us? I don’t think we were very fast today, tactically
we were weak, our starts were average. And with this fleet any minor mistake is just exploited so hard.”
He further added, “We have to work a little bit on personalities, how do we come to good decisions, making sure that everybody understood the strengths and weaknesses of each other, so we are using every tool in the toolbox. We need to sit down and talk
about what is going on, who what where and why. But there is nothing we can’t do a little better.”
