Audio books from CD to Ipod

Question

The story is not in sync.......the disc 1,2 3, etc and chapter 1,2,3 etc do not run in sequence. I put them on computer in the right order but .........They are not numbered on the ipod so that I can just run straight thro a story. Anyone help on this?

Rename them "Chapter A" "Chapter B" etc, etc, etc. And (with your iPod connected) in iTunes make sure the Audiobook playlist is set to file by Title. Then, select all the files (click the first file > hold SHIFT > scroll to the bottom and click the last file) > right click > get info > and turn on Skip When Shuffling. You can also turn off shuffling from your iPod.

this happened to me. go into settings in the ipod and turn shuffle off.
