Audio cassette adventure or role playing game involves map drawing?

I vaguely remember an old fantasy game where you play an audio cassette which then gives instructions like rolling dice and then to draw cave or a snake with that many heads and things like that on a map. Does anyone know what the name of this game may be or any games similar to it?
