Audio is screwed up

Question

nforce 520LE mother board was bought at Fry's and the sund is low and has constant popping moise and the only time the mic will work is just befor windows boots up after that the mic wont work. There was a motherboard driver disk in the box with VIA AC '97 Audio controller (WDM) and SigmaTel Audio on the disk.The only thing that installs is SigmaTel Audio and that is all and the drivers will not let Windows audio drivers install. All you can get from nvida is the same drivers that are on the disk and then you have to reactivate windows which is a long drawn out proccess. And frys only says go to nvidia and will not exchange the board or give money back because it is now a used board since it was in a case and powered up which is the only way that you know if there are any problems. I also need mother board manual which was not in the box and told to go to manufacturer which all claim is you. All that was in box as for as paper work was a S***y a*s foldout in several langages showing where to plug items in and none of the pictures showing this are of the nforce 520LE. So I'm now stuck with this mother bord with S***y drivers that do not work as they are supposed to do.
