While walking through a crowded airplane, I snagged the headphones on a seat I was walking past. This yanked the headphones out of the Kpex's headphone jack. When I put the headphones back in, I discovered I could only hear sound in the left headphone, the right is completely silent. I find that I *can* get audio out of both headphones by twisting the headphones plug in the jack, which leads me to think that there must be a contact inside the jack that is bent so it doesn't always make contact.I have tested the same headphones on a different device and they work
fine. Similarly, I have tested a different set of headphones on the
same Kpex player and found the same problem.I also dismantled the player in hopes that it was just a wire that could be re-soldered. No such luck, it looks like the jack is soldered in place properly, which must mean that the contact inside is bent like I suspect (I guess). Does anyone know where I can purchase a new headphone jack? Is there another possible solution?
