I just received my 50" plasma TV a couple days ago. The audio and video work fine with regular cable TV. However, with the my DVD player and PS2, the video works fine but there's no audio. I've checked and rechecked my wires multiple times and it still doesn't work. I've tried multiple movies to no avail. I even went to Best Buy and bought video and audio component wires and it still doesn't work. It's a brand new TV and I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Make sure you're connecting the audio for the ps2 to the connectors that accompany the video input you're using. Same goes for the dvd player. The TV isn't psychic. If you connect the ps2 video to input 1, the ps2's audio must also be connected to input 1.

  2. The first thing that I would do is go to the Panasonic web site and register for their Plasma Concierge service. Then use the live chat link to discuss this issue with a Panasonic service rep. If you can not resolve the issue with their help, then return the TV to the retailer where you purchased the TV. Most have a 30 return policy and will exchange your TV for a new TV that works.
