AudioExcel AV512 Sound Card PCI

Question

My sound card works fine for sound. Output to speakers is great, BUT I have some old vynal that i would like to copy to CD's using an old record player attached thru line in. Neither the line-in sound nor the mic transfer sound. I have uninstalled the drivers for the original sound card. Do I have a conflict or some othe issue???Thanks for you help.Rob
