Audiopulse Epic or Alpine Type-R?

Question

Which subwoofer would sound better in a 1.5-2.0 sealed enclosure runnin about 500rms from a Rockford Fosgate Punch p1000. A 12" Audiopulse(TC Sounds) Epic or a 12" Alpine Type-R?

The Audiopulse Epic would  be better in that enclosure.  The Type-R is not recommended for that high a volume for a sealed enclosure.  The Epic is recommended up to 2 cubic feet in volume for a sealed enclosure so it will work well in that size enclosure.  The Audiopulse sub will be a better sub as well.  

I don't know if this will change your mind or not but Audiopulse has went out of business.  They had some money issues and went bankrupt.  Their subs are still nice and designed well, however.

Save your money, look for a Sound Splinter RL-p.  It came off the same assembly line as the Audiopulse, and I believe it costs less.  Plus SoundSplinter is still in business and has excellent customer service.
