Audition Hermia Midsummer Night's Dream??

I want to audition for Midsummer Night's Dream, and I want to get the part of Hermia. Any tips on how to be her character or anything? Thanks!

Hermia is small and dark. She must be really pretty because 2 men fall in love with her. I should know because I auditioned for the part of Hermia in our school and I got her part. We are learning about A Midsummer Night's Dream and read the story in our class. In the story it says something about Athens, so she must be Athenian try searching for Athenian gowns. She acts happy and in love with Lysander. But she cannot be with him because her father picked Demitrius. She does'nt really love Demitrius, and treats him like a friend.
