Audition/agent help...?

okay so i know its really hard to get an audition [audition info from actinginfo.blogspot.com] if you have no agent yet and little experience but would they even consider bringing in someone that has no on screen experience...i mean everyone has to start somewhere right? maybe i should just get an agent first? but i hear they are really hard to get...

I'm sending out my resume to a lot of agents just to see what happens and i'm going to keep taking classes and auditioning for plays  after all nothing ventured nothing gained
