Audition song for Maria for "West Side Story?"?

Question

I was thinking about singing the song "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from Phantom of the Opera. Is this good song to sing, or is the style off? Thanks!

The style is a bit off, plus it's also a very overdone song.  The voice type is right though, as Maria is a classical soprano much like Christine.  I'd be looking at perhaps "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" from Sweeney Todd or "Lovely" from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
