Audition song for moulin rouge?

our school is putting up a production of moulin rouge next term and i am planning to audition for the role of satine but im having trouble figuring out what song to audition with. any recommendations would be helpful (as long as they are NOT from moulin rouge)

Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray can show off your range pretty well, and you can have so much fun with it!

Celine Dion - Power of love, if you can pull it off that could be a great audition piece. It shows power behind your voice and a gd range.

Moulin Rouge features songs from pop singers (Elton John, etc.)... (if it's the movie based version)... so this is one time I'd suggest a pop song that's right for your vocal range and is fun to sing...

Make sure you have both an upbeat song and ballad prepared.
