It's for a junior theatre and the age is 8-18. I'm 13 and my mom says the chances of me getting in are slim. But I REALLY want to play Etcetera. SOOOOOOOOOOOO badly. I'm not the best dancer but at the meeting the director said that it wouldn't be very dance-heavy. Any advice? =3

  1. With the role that you are looking for, you should try to find a song that will show off both your head and chest voice. Think about "Not a Day Goes By" from "Merrily We Roll Along" or "Unexpected Song" from "Song and Dance."

  2. well if its not for the real thing and just for a children theater it shouldnt be hard to get in.if you think you are a good singer then ask your friends not to lie and swear youra good singer then you should go for it.i think your chances will be huge if your a good singer!i have seen the broadway play of cats and many many other hugeley popular plays.i have seen like twentey broadway plays. i have also been in the play aniee and i have sung think of me from phantom of the opera at an art show.so trust me i have experience. if you think your good then you chances should be good.i hope i helped! your mom should be supporting you .xo xo alice cullen
