Ok, so I'm a 13 year old teenager, and I really really lvoe acting. Not to brag, but I'm pretty good at it. I'v enever had acting lessons before though. I can kinda sing too, but I'm not the best. I need more practice singing in front of people. I usually sing really good in the shower, lol, but like when I get in front of peopel I get nervous. I live in New Jersey, close to the city, but I barely ever go anymore. When I act in front of people, like, I don't get nervous, at all. I have dark brown hair, tan skin, big brown eyes, I dress in like Abercrombie, Aero, Hollister, PacSun, I talk alot, I have a bubbly personality, I'm not a girly girl at all, I'm pretty friendly. I get off for summer break on tuesday (awesome i know lol) & I really want to audition for some stuff this summer break. DOes anyone have any tips? Like movies that I may be able to audition for, where I can audition, what to do when I audition, like all those things? Thanks (: Lol

  1. If your parents are willing to drive you into the city, there's lots of opportunities for back ground work (being an extra.)

If you're looking for a major (or even minor) role, though, its going to be tough without an agent.

Check out www.backstage.com and see about getting a subscription. Its what they call a trade paper and it has info about various auditions (mainly theatre stuff but that's a good avenue as well...)

    Hope it all works out!
