I am auditioning for the part of Laurie Morton in Brighton Beach Memoirs. And I was just wondering if anybody could tell me about the plot or any of the characters, because i am not familiar with the story. Thanks

Brighton Beach is the first of the semi-autobiographical trilogy written by Neil Simon.

It focuses around the Jerome family, mainly teenager Eugene.
