I am living in an appartment with a couple good bright windows. I am growing some peppers that are doing well except they are tall and thin and not as full as the one I have outside. I cannot move them outside but I was hoping some sort of grow lamp from the opposite side would help them fill out. Will this work? What type of lamp should I use?

  1. Your best choices are an HPS (High Pressure Sodium) and a MH (Metal Halide).

If you only want one, get the HPS.  A 400W HPS will be suitable for a 1 sq. metre area.

And it will be worth buying reflective material to get the best of all that light.

The best place to find the best information on this kind of thing is online forums that deal with the topic of growing cannabis indoors.  You will find many experts on the equipment necessary to get the most out of your indoor grow area.

    Good luck with those peppers.
