August North Vietnam and Cambodia?

Hi,

Looking to travel to Hanoi, Red River Delta for trekking, Halong Bay and then to Siem Reap and PP in Cambodia. Mid - end August. Is the weather too rainy to be a pain, especially for the trekking? Is it constant rain or more an hour or so a day? Thanks.

The rain in Ha Noi is more in Aug & Sept, but never all the time, 24x7.

Delta trekking?

Trekking in the hills around Sapa can be unpleasant when the trails are turned to mud.
