The Olympique Lyonnais president says that the club will be looking to find more players this summer and also shed some light over the club’s new stadium Stade Lumieres

For Olympique Lyonnais president Jean-Michel Aulas, winning the Championelle remains an ambition as does qualifying for the Champions League. Knowing that the club’s financial circumstances are no more good enough to spend lavishly on players, the Lyon supremo
introduced an austerity plan.
However, this will not stop Aulas from spending money on those players who have the profile to take the club forward.
Aulas has already said that he will compensate for the departures of players with acquisition of new ones. The Rhodanian club’s targets might be less prestigious and less expensive but that doesn’t mean that the club will not go for talented players.

“Can you imagine that Lille, Marseille or Bordeaux hire and Lyon don’t? Priorities have been identified. For Martin, I cannot answer you but we can imagine that he is a part of the plan.”
Naturally, Aulas spoke a bit about the infamous reign of Claude Puel. In his three seasons, the former Monaco man failed to win any accolades for the club but chose not to lambast the man anymore.

“It will be the only stadium that will have the chance of generating private income. There are short, medium and long-term goals.”
