On the other hand, Laurenttis has warned the new singing, Inler, not to get carried away with the talks of Scudetto or UEFA Champions League.
Inler completed his move from Udinese a few days back and told the reporters that he has joined the Naples based side to win the Scudetto or the Champions League. Laurenttis is pleased with the player’s ambitions but has warned him not to think far ahead.
“He’s getting ahead of himself, but that is pleasing to hear anyway. Last season we finished third in Serie A thanks to our own efforts and the errors of others. This year we’ll try to qualify for the Champions League again, but targeting top spot would be presumptuous and could bring bad luck.”
Napoli finished the 2010/11 Serie A season on the third spot in the league table.
