  1. All of the above, but I'm surprised your computer didn't tell you the problem. I assume its a film and not just a disc with data.

only the film needs the region thing.

you can search for DVD region killer for your computer. i don't think it is compatible with vista

  2. You need to use DVD RW Drive and DVD Fab HD Decrypter freeware.

Use it to copy your DVD to hard drive, regions settings will be set as all regions, and then burn it again with BurnAtOnce free burning software

  3. Pls get someone like an expert  to "MULTI-CODE" IT for you.

  4. DVD's for this area have to be Region 2 to work in our players. Check the back of the box to see what region the dvd is. It'll be down the bottom of the back of the box. Usually its a little globe with the region number wrote in it.

  5. It's a different region code !

  6. It is the format.  One is NTSC the other is PAL.  It deals with the lines per frame, and is kinda stupid if you ask me.  Why not make them all the same.  You will need a multisystem DVD player, and you can change the setting on your laptop, but be careful.  Most of the time it will only let you change this setting like once or twice.  My advice, quit buying DVD's from other countries, or get you a multisystem DVD player.  You'd have to check, but  you may need a specific TV for this too.  I can't remember.

  7. Have a look at the following web site http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks . You should be able to find the appropriate hack for one of your players. This is a most comprehensive information source for DVD's of all varieties. If you find the right code you should be able to set a player to All regions - Bingo!

  8. Wrong region encoding.

You need to "hack" your DVD players to make them region free.

    Google is your friend.
