after hearing so much hype about these aldi nappies ive decided that when my little boy is born I'm gunna try Aldi nappies instead of huggies...apparently they are heaps cheaper......well I'm wondering what a pkt of 56 newborn huggies cost not on special and where from?? i only used huggies with my daughter when she was a baby but i cant remember the prices!!.......aldi only sells pkts of 56 that's the reason i only need to know the price of huggies 56 pkts! thanks heaps for anyone who can answer this question!!!

  1. You can't go wrong with Huggies...

  2. I agree I am a HUGE HUGGIE SUPPORTER

Every place if different but I would say $23 is about the going rate but here is a link for 56 at $12.99

  3. hi there...i have two boys and another on the way and i am sure i have tried almost every nappy on the market between the two of them....i found the aldi nappies to be really good but still do not reach the mark that huggies do.  However, if your willing to juggle things around a little bit i found that i could drive my dollar further by buying cheaper nappies for daytime use (normally the "i love coles" range as they are pretty good and sell for around $15 for a bag of 56 crawler) and then use the huggies only for night time use, particularly when bub started sleeping through the night. It also means a pack will last a lot longer given that it costs around $25 depending on stores.  I can say that with both my boys no nappies stood up to a full night except huggies.

  4. try toiletpaperman.com.au - i buy all my huggies on line there!

  5. Most likely $20 for a 'bulk' pack (56) of newborns. Around $18-$20. I haven't tried the Aldi brand - but not having a car and no Aldi's close by that I am aware of means it would be inconvenient for me anyways. Hopefully Big W still have some snugglers left - they have boxes for $26 on special at the moment. Big W are pretty good normally. Normally you pay $26 for a pack of only 72 nappies (crawler) but Big W has the special where you pay $26 for 108 crawler nappies.

Using cheaper nappies throughout the day is probably your best bet. I have tried most nappies - found the supermarket brands to be good, didn't like babylove for my son, snuggler were good but had some leakage issues - think I needed to upsize.

    Good Luck

  6. Ive also heard alot about the aldi nappies, but like you, am yet to try them!! I usually use babylove, found them great even overnight, but just bought a box of snugglers today, they're also pretty good and they were on special ($26 for 108 and babylove were $36 for 112). I had a look on the Woolworth's website to see if they had newborn huggies on there but couldn't seem to find it? Maybe have a look at a few grocery websites and see if you have any luck, or if you have any junk mail at home you may be lucky enough to have them in it. Im not sure though that huggies have a 56 size, but you can still work out the cost per nappy no matter the size. Best of luck!

  7. I dont know how much the 56 packs are but the bulk packs 108 newborn size at 41 $ at woolworths. So that would be equivilent to two 56 packs right?

My friend just introduced me to snugglers (we only use disposables overnight and cloth during the day) and they are just as good as huggies nappies but they are soooo much cheaper. I got a box of 106 crawler size 6kg-11kg from Big W yesterday and it was 26!

The only thing with snugglers is that they are unisex.. not gender specific, But i have a girl and they are great on her.. Im not sure if it would make a big difference if you have a boy :)
