Aussie phone line thingo.. help!?

Question

I have had an Optus home phone line for as long as I can remember.. and if I dialed *69 it would tell me who the last unanswered phone call was from.. I now have a Telstra phone and was wondering if they have an equivalent and if so, what do I dial?

Try *10#

With mine you can dial 101 and see if you have any messages- like an answering machine.

I think you have to set it up first though- dial 101 and try it.

As I am based in the Uk I am unable to answer your question about Telstra, however I do know of a phone company thats is much better than Telstra, better service and cheaper.

With both Optus and Telstra, it is now *10#. You do need to have this service activated on your phone first though, this does usually carry a small fee depending on the carrier. Best thing to do is to try dialing it, if it doesnt work, then contact your carrier and they will usually have it activated within 24 hours for you.
