  1. An Australian XL is a size 16 not a 14. 14 is L, 12 M, 10 S, 8 XS.

A size 16 AU is equal to a sz 12 US.

    US - AU

    0 - 4

    2 - 6

    4 - 8

    6 - 10

    8 - 12

    10 - 14

    12 - 16

    14 - 18

    16 - 20

    18 - 22

    20 - 24

    22 - 26

    24 - 28

    26 - 30

    28 - 32

In Australia sizes generally range from 8 - 26, some stores stock smaller. Plus sizes begin at 14 or 16.

  2. An Aussie extra large is an aussie size 14. So I think a US 0 = Au 6 US 2 = Au 8 and so on. So If my calculations are right you will need a US size 8/10. I hope this helps.
