Just wondering if both partners (married) are able to claim the tax offsets for the same child? We are both working

Nope, you are usualy taxed as a female for that

but given any rebate on it.

The thing is the tax department used to have every

year a line for asking any questions, and they are

very good with any answeres regarding tax.  So call

and ask them.
