Hi,

I want to know how it works if you are a traveler from Australia in the UK and want to send a parcel of clothing back home to Australia to make more room in your luggage for other items.

Is it possible to do it this way? I will be taking a carry-on bag on holiday and don't want to check in my luggage on the way back home. How do I go about sending a parcel of clothing to Australia from the UK? What will I need to do? Do I need to supply a UK address for security purposes or will I only need to provide the international posting address?

Thank you.

  1. guess you could do but the cheapest would be surface and it would take months to get there ... but wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to find somewhere to leave your suitcase in London and pick it up on the way back through to Aus (always assuming you're coming via London for your flight, that is)

  2. You will probably need to supply a UK address, and fill in a form, describing the contents, and their approximate cost. Go to the local post office, and they will give you the necessary forms.
