Aussies, Have you started Spring Cleaning today?

and where did you start?

I'm in the US and I started Fall Cleaning today so I couldn't resist answering!  (This is Labor Day weekend here and it's "traditionally" when most of us do our Fall Cleaning)

I started in the kitchen.  Did most of the surface cleaning and need to pull out the silverware, etc... and run the organizers through the dishwasher while I clean the inside of the drawers & cabinets and then need to scrub the floor (that's for tomorrow).  More to do over the next couple of weekends.  

On the list:

Change out the filters on the HVAC

Sweep/hose down front porch

Pull all furniture away from walls and clean behind/under everything

Wash all of the windows.

Does that sound like the same stuff you do down under?

I haven't, but in reply, yes I'm pretty sure we clean the same way as you guys do (except for the crocodiles we have to pull out the the bath occasionally and the kangaroos we have to shoo out of the backyard). And we call a hoover a vacuum cleaner, and a refrigerator a fridge. I don't really 'spring' clean, just do major cleans when I have to or are in the mood :)

I'm not that keen - by the time l get around to a spring clean l'd be inclined to call it a leap year clean!!
