Aussies: Has Morris Iemma lost his mind??

Question

Electicity privatisation has been a disaster in Victoria. Why would Iemma want to repeat this mistake? - especially when climate change is such an imminent threat, and the aim should be to MINIMISE power consumption, not profit from increasing it.

As Winston Churchill once said 'Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it'. Privatisation hasn't worked anywhere that I know of, so yes, it's crazy.

It's crazy! Privatisation will make the energy bills go up. Interest rates are high already.
